18TH CENTURY SHIP'S BOAT, BRITISH

This is a model of an 18th Century Ship's Boat, usually positioned on the main deck, between the quarterdeck and forecastle. The boat, which is considered to be a yawl, has a squared stern, slight sheer and guilded scrolled frieze.

The model is completely hand made from scratch, plank on frame construction, with exceptional craftsmanship of highest quality.

The model is to scale of ½" to 1", made of pearwood, boxwood, ebony, and bloodwood.

Dimensions: Length 14 ¾" Beam 3 5/8"
The model is housed in a glass case made of macassar ebony and redwood burl veneer.
